Salaam Baalak Trust supports with every need that a child should be given during the growing up process. Love & Care - Clothing - Nutrition & Education to start with. Right from study aids, tuition, school material to Health Care & Medical services, Physical & Creative Development - we cover it all. We lay emphasis on Sport, Yoga, Arts (Painting, Singing, Dancing, Acting) to bring about an overall transformation in a child’s progress.
The end result is a youth who is: Confident, Poised & Self-aware - ready to deal with the outside world.
Education.
Each child is first enrolled in a main-stream school & their progress is actively monitored. Our in-house teachers provide study-aids to help children bridge the gap in their learning.
Creativity.
Our centers conduct classes in Painting, Crafts, drama therapy, music, dance & other fine arts, giving each of our children, the opportunity to shine out through adversity.
Recreation.
What is childhood without recreation? We provide the simple joys of play, board games, indoor & outdoor sports, Yoga and more within a supportive and nurturing environment.
Safe Spaces
We setup Safe areas in communities for our children with all the amenities that a child should have at home. Comfortable, shaded spaces with fresh drinking water & toilets
Nutrition.
We ensure that our children are served fresh food to eat & are given nutritionally enriched & balanced meals, to help them stay fit & healthy both physically and mentally.
Medical Care.
Our centers are equipped with first-aid kits, basic medicines, on call Doctor support and sanitary supplies for girls & boys to take care of the most common needs of street children.
Rehabilitation.
With professional guidance & counsellingg, we offer each child a personalized path to long-term success and help them become productive members of society.
Vocation.
Vocational skills in fields like Mobile repairs, Photography, Gym Fitness, Beauty & Cosmetics & Automobile repair are imparted to children based on their interest to make them job-ready.
Counseling.
Professional staff provides personal counseling, therapy, guidance and advice to help navigate the world safely and confidently. Fragile children are given extra care & regular follow-up.
